QC-HPC Systems for the Quantum Advantage Era

Workshop: 1st Annual Workshop on Large-Scale Quantum-Classical Computing

Authors: Aleksander Wennersteen (Pasqal)

Abstract: This talk outlines system- and algorithm-level progress toward quantum-advantage-ready QC-HPC, where quantum and classical resources cooperate and are integrated into a single logical system. We will focus on Pasqal's neutral atom QPUs and their native ability for quantum simulation, as well as progress towards fault-tolerant, digital, QPUs. We also discuss the design of heterogeneous (multi-modal) QC-HPC systems.
