Workshop: 1st Annual Workshop on Large-Scale Quantum-Classical Computing
Authors: Matthew Treinish (IBM)
Abstract: Qiskit is a popular open source SDK for quantum computing it enables users to build quantum circuits, compile them for a specific quantum computer, and provides interfaces for running circuits. Historically Qiskit only exposed a Python interface, but this has changed in recent releases and Qiskit now also has a C API. This talk will explain how Qiskit's C API was developed, how to use the new API, and show how it is building a broader ecosystem for quantum software. It will also demonstrate practical examples of using the C API to run circuits on quantum computers.
