Abstract: A scheme and script for combining system-independent scripts with system-specific localization information to make it easy to write job scripts to run on any system. The basic structure of such scripts is discussed, with templates of how to set up new job scripts, localizations, and examples of use. The paper discusses an implementation of a script that automates the combining process.
