The SC Job Fair brings those people together, creating opportunities for job seekers and employers to connect and grow. Jane Herriman, SC25 Job Fair Chair, took time to tell us all about this event and why it’s such an important part of the SC conference. The SC Job Fair connects job seekers with organizations offering internships, full-time roles, and academic programs. It provides a focused space for networking and learning about company culture, complementing the exhibit floor’s broader look at technology and innovation. Jane Herriman, SC25 Job Fair Chair How the Job Fair Works The SC25 Job Fair will take place on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, 10:30 am–3 pm (CST). Over 35 employers are expected to participate, each hosting a booth staffed by representatives eager to connect with potential candidates. No Registration Required Attendees can stop by at any time to talk with organizations of interest. Résumé Database Upload your CV to increase your visibility, even if you can’t attend every booth. Job Board Explore postings from employers, available during and after the fair. Why Employers Participate The Job Fair isn’t just valuable for attendees, it’s also a prime opportunity for employers. By registering, companies gain: Direct access to qualified candidates in the SC community. The opportunity to post job listings on the SC25 Job Board. Full access to the résumé database, providing visibility into a wide pool of interested applicants. What Job Seekers Can Expect The Job Fair is about more than handing out résumés, it’s about making meaningful connections — with a chance to: Speak one-on-one with recruiters and hiring managers. Visit the free headshot booth (located at the Washington Entrance Lobby and inside the Job Fair) to update professional profiles with a new photo. Career Development Opportunities The Job Fair is part of a larger ecosystem of career support at SC25. On Monday, November 17, Students@SC is offering a series of professional development workshops open to all attendees. These sessions, paired with example résumés available online, give attendees the tools to put their best foot forward. And the opportunities don’t end when the fair closes. Employers will continue posting jobs through January 2026, searchable by skill level, area of interest, and more.
