As SC25 arrives in St. Louis, the SCinet and Community Engagement & Support teams are committed to training and mentoring the next generation of networking professionals. Through CommUNITY@SC25, participants can acquire essential skills in high-performance computing (HPC), connect with the SC community, and open up new career opportunities.

CommUNITY@SC25 is a host city-focused program designed to introduce and integrate individuals from a wide range of backgrounds into the world of networking. Through hands-on training and mentorship, participants develop technical expertise while building valuable professional connections within the high-performance computing (HPC) industry.

At its core, CommUNITY@SC25 is dedicated to providing meaningful training opportunities for those local to the St. Louis area. Participants gain hands-on experience with the latest advancements in HPC technology, with a focus on:

Constructing and optimizing cluster computing environments

Training artificial intelligence models using HPC infrastructure

Automating tasks with high-performance networking solutions

A unique aspect of CommUNITY@SC25 is the opportunity to join the SCinet networking team, where participants will:

Now in its second year, CommUNITY was initiated at SC24 in Atlanta by Verónica Melesse Vergara and Angie Asmus.
