Women Igniting Innovation in HPC

women's history month

Women have long been at the forefront of High Performance Computing, driving innovation and shaping the future of our field. Since launching the SC conference Women’s History Month initiatives in 2023, we have proudly honoured pioneers, leaders and students whose work continues to inspire the next generation. Over the past three years, we have showcased over 150 remarkable women, each making unique contributions that strengthen the HPC community.

As we celebrate another Women’s History Month, we remain committed to recognising these trailblazers. From engineers and researchers to students and community leaders, these women bring diverse perspectives and experiences that fuel innovation. Their stories highlight resilience, ingenuity and leadership, reinforcing the importance of inclusion in shaping technological progress.
