Whether you’re bringing kids, teens, or planning to explore St. Louis with loved ones, SC25 offers a welcoming experience for all ages. With hands-on activities, childcare, reception access, and more, SC25 offers an experience the whole family can enjoy — where innovation meets family. While you’re at SC25, stop by the Community Engagement & Support Office in Room 360 of the America’s Center to say “Hi!” and learn up-to-date information on all activities. Our team is available to help with any questions and ensure your experience is as smooth and enjoyable as possible. Kid-Friendly Participation Children aged 6 months and older are welcome at SC25! Here’s what’s available for young attendees: Conference Sessions: Kids 6+ months may attend with a parent or carer. If your child becomes disruptive – don’t panic. You can step out of the session at any time and rejoin later, or connect to our Digital Experience. Parents Room: A dedicated space for families with children aged 6 months–5 years, open Sunday to Friday. On-Site Childcare: Licensed child care (for a nominal fee) will be available for ages 6 months+. Details and sign-up will be announced in Summer 2025. All children under the age of 18 must be registered at the Special Assistance Desk and wear a wristband throughout the event. Exhibits Family Day Join us for Family Day on Wednesday, 4–6 pm in the SC25 exhibit hall. This is the perfect opportunity to share the excitement of tech with your kids in a vibrant, engaging setting: Children 6 months+ can explore the exhibit hall with a registered adult. No extra fee, but wristbands are required (pick them up at the Special Assistance Desk in Registration). Teen Exploration Opportunities Attendees ages 12–17 can access: Exhibits (regular hours only): Must have a special “Exhibits Only” badge and be accompanied by a registered adult. Cutting-edge tech demonstrations, real-world AI & ML applications, and expert meetups that may inspire future STEM careers. Family Access to Receptions Want to bring your family to the evening receptions? Children under 18 can attend the Exhibitor and Technical Program Receptions with signed consent. Kids 2+ must wear a wristband; parents carry wristbands for younger children. Consent and wristbands are managed at the Special Assistance Desk. Explore St. Louis Together Take advantage of SC’s location, family-friendly St. Louis. Local attractions include: Children’s Museum Science Center Interactive Tech Exhibits Outdoor Adventures: Parks, gardens, riverboat tours, or even head underground! Tips for a Smooth Family Experience Plan Ahead Explore family activities and register early — some services may have limited capacity.
